Purchased early July 2012 from Amazon.
Received the delivery very quickly for free delivery and packaged well.

I'm replacing the PSU in my old Acer Aspire T180 and found the fitting very easy (only ever replaced memory & a HDD in a PC before).
Length of the cables is more than enough, but not overly long.

No strange noises as other reviewers have reported when purchasing elsewhere (no idea why they buy elsewhere and review here).

The unit is fairly quiet, more so than the standard Acer PSU.
Build quality seems very good to me, it is a V2 model which according to reviews are much better than the first version.
Would recommend to anyone.

Runs quiet and cool and has enough connectors for my needs (4 SATA or less). The wires are shielded and thick, so they do look "cleaner" than if you have non-shielded wires, but I can see how they could be difficult to work with in a smaller case with little room.

Also comes with tie wraps for the wires. I ran pre and post install power consumption tests using a P3 International Kill A Watt meter and the power consumption of these 430W power supplies was considerable less than with the previous power supplies (about 20-30% on average).

The power output (430W) works fine for me on all 4 computers although I run only on-board graphics.

Both systems run Win 7 64 Enterprise with power settings on High Performance (needed for my IT testing and VMs) and I use stock CPU fans that come with the respective processor.

I believe that this PS would be sufficent for most people, but may not be enough for higher end systems such as dual processors (not to be confused with dual-core), high end graphics/dual graphics, more than 4 SATA devices, or high OverClocking situations in which the power draw is increased and there is a requirement for higher end cooling measures.

I have not seen any of the issues the other reviewers have had - I have 4 of these PSU's and they are all rock solid.

The power supply arrived on time and has all the required plugs (one needs splitting in two for my motherboard but it is designed for that and it's easy once you know). It is working without any problem. Very good value.

Well priced PSU which is solidly build and offers stable power with a low noise fan. There is now a modular version available which is even better as it reduces the clutter in your build.

Has one 6+2 pcie power cable for those wanting to power their graphics cards.

I have just returned two of these to a different supplier due to what seems to be a problem of short circuiting, possibly caused by design or manufacturing problems. In short, both units had a whining sound and pulled about 20w when switched off via the toggle switch at the back, and 30w hen switched on and not even connected to anything but the mains!! It's supposed to be EuP compliant so should use no more than 1w with a suitable motherboard on standby/sleep, let alone when connected only to the wall. I also noticed on the second one that the circuit board looked slightly bowed. I might be unlucky and have bought from a faulty batch but I would steer clear of these as you might end up paying over £30 per year just to have it plugged in. If you have already bought one, get it checked out sooner rather than later.

For me the only PSU's I use now are Corsair, I have installed over 20 of these and have had no problems whatsoever, they come nicely boxed, with a power lead, screws and a small pack of cable ties.

The single rail means that they can easily deliver enough power and won't fail as often as multi rail psu's do.

That along with a 3,5 or 7 year (depending on model range) guarantee gives great peace of mind.
