I upgraded my workstation recently and the last piece of the puzzle was the memory. My motherboard uses DDR3 memory and it supports 1600Mhz memory. This was the best deal I found for quality RAM. The performance of my system is better than I expected, due in large to the speed and size of this memory. I purchased the low profile version of this memory and it fit perfectly in my system. The intake fan for the CPU cooler pulls air directly across the RAM heat spreaders. CPU and system temperature increased by only 1 degree C after replacing 2 x 2GB RAM with this 4 x 4GB set.
