The SP2200 is designed for gamers and media enthusiasts who want a powerful, compact 2.1 speaker system that doesn’t take a lot of space. 46 Watts of total power (measured via the FTC “RMS” method), with 30 Watts dedicated to the 6” subwoofer, ensure room-shaking bass and clean, crisp audio reproduction at any volume level. The SP2200 is easy to set up, and easy to use. Controls are up front where you need them, and flexible connection options allow you to connect up to three audio sources at once.

Pros:
- Very clear sound
- Built to last
- Fantastic warranty
- Very good volume control
- Modular cable management (my old 2:1 speakers had all wires permanently connected to the sub)
- Excellent mid's
- Excellent game audio, even better than some 5:1 speakers.
Cons:
- High ends suffer slightly
- No drivers (usually make sound quality better)
- The bass cant meet standards for people who like high bass genres such as Dubstep
- The 'Sub' control doesn't make too much of a difference after about two-thirds.
So overall, these speakers are fantastic for gaming and if you listen to music genres apart from dubstep/club. These speakers are also good for movies too.
They done what they were created for very well...which was gaming.

These speakers really are very good, I deliberated for ages trying to decide on which set to go for, temped by the cheaper logitechs. I am really glad I chose the Corsairs. Fantastic bass response, I have full hifi systems that do no have the same bass power. They are also much louder than I could have expected, really I can turn them up to uncomfortable levels with no distortion or clipping the satellite speakers are also really crisp and I can enjoy all types of music/movies/games. A commendable effort from corsair, highly recommended.

I got the Corsair SP2200 2.1 Speaker System from somewhere else, but Amazon is the best place to leave a review. First of all, the speakers look great, and were packed nicely, very simplistic design to them but solidly made, and I think they look very stylish, even if they are chunky things. The volume and bass controls on the right satellite are well made and very convenient. The wires are of medium length, and easily long enough for where I wanted to put them around my desk, assembling it all is quite straight forward and it wasn't long before I was ready to try them out with the big subwoofer sitting below my desk.
I was blown away by the volume, I have a fairly small room and about 25% of the volume was in my face loud, turned up higher and you can hear it from a good distance, naturally I did play some music and 100% volume it and I was delighted to hear no distortion or any lacking of quality, the sound is very crisp at all volumes and for the first time I can actually hear all of the different instruments in a song, converting from some cheap Logitech 2.1 speakers to these was a great decision. The Bass has decent kick, past 70% you don't hear much of a difference and at higher volumes it can really shake the floor and deliver a good sized punch for the price.
I really cannot fault these speakers, I spent a week extensively searching for 2.1 speakers that I was willing to spend my money on, and eventually settled on these and I am over the moon, I play games more than I listen to music and these speakers really bring the action alive. And I will be using these for gaming, music and movies. And they are perfect for me.
I highly recommend them, just look around a little so you can get the best price.
