If you have an AUX connection then yes, im far from a guru, but if it has that then thats a definite yes mate. Iv got mine connected to my laptop and my tv at the same time (obviously at different ports) and you control which port you want the sound to come out off from the little control pad/box that comes with it. Hope that answers your question (I am only talking about the sound though)

Yes, on the control panel there is a volume control for bass and treble. I would say yes as these are the best speakers I've ever had

You can but it's going to cause terrible vibrations if your floor is hard. If you have some extra rubber feet to put on the side of it then I suppose it will be fine.

I have been using the speakers with a Windows 7 desktop and a SoundBlaster X-Fi card - was a massive improvement over my previous set and really worth the money.

I've tried it, and you can disconnect the satellite speakers and have only the subwoofer playing - note you will still need the SP2500 remote control unit to adjust volume, turn on the sub, etc. The SP2500 has a L&R RCA input at the back of the subwoofer box.
