The headset looks good and works well but there is a real question mark over their durability. Mine stopped working correctly (no sound from one earpiece) after just two weeks of light use (no tugs or pulls - just picked them up to use them one morning and no sound from left side - fine the night before). This seems to be a common problem with these sets (that or losing the microphone connection.)
I'd advise anyone considering them to take a look at the Corsair forums and read through the numerous complaints there. One thread there talks about having to RMA five sets, all of which became faulty. They have a two year warranty but if you need to RMA them in the UK then you have to send them to Holland at your own expense which will cost about £16.
I didn't buy mine through Amazon so perhaps they would be more amenable about taking them back and giving a refund - their return service is usually excellent.
It's a shame - they look like a bargain but the wiring seems dubious at best.

Very good product feals sturdy with a bit of weight to it -not so much as to hurt after a long computer session-. Microfone seems to have quite alot of static. Sound quality seems to be very good. Only slight beef is that it is a little bit too tight but becomes broken in after a few months ... highly recommended

Good sound while they last, which seems to be all of 3 months,
The wire seems to be dodgy where it connects to the headset and where it connects to the mic/volume adjuster.
Having to send back a second pair now since the replacement i got have broken in the exact same place.
Strange thing is, my grandad bought a pair of these and his pair have a different mic/volume adjuster to mine (and the replacement i got) and his seem to be much stronger
Maybe they are newer ones and fix the fault in the wire?
