Awesome memory 18 Feb 2010
I have them running at 9-9-9-24 at 1450 MHz ish (due to my playing with the FSB). The system seemed a bit unstable at the standard voltage for the DRAM, but when I bumped it up to 1.80 V it all seemed fine. I'm sure the large heatspreaders help to disappiate the extra heat due to the higher voltage, as I wouldn't fancy bumping up the voltage on cheaper non-branded memory. I probably could improve the timings if I tried to be honest...

A 64-bit OS is needed to make use of 4 or more gig of memory really, and they work fine in Windows XP x64 SP2 and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

I try to always get Corsair as it's a brand I trust when it comes to DRAM.

I had Kingston memory in 1333 speed, then I had OCZ, all of them had problem. I use my pc for everything, from Business to Gaming, I work in IT so my tasks are quite demanding on the memory, and I multi-task a lot. I purchased 2 of these and now have 8 GB in my pc, running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit edition, I can say it has made a world of difference. Kingston memory kept failing, I would get blue screens and Read / Write errors daily. Corsair is excellent, 4 x 2 GB Dual Channel enabled, running them at 1333 Mhz underclocked, with better timings as CAS 9 is a bit low, I have them stable at 1333 MHz with Cas 7 and no over voltage, just stock. Works perfect in hamrony with my Core 2 Quad CPU which is a 1333 Front Side Bus. If I can give any advice here, it is to buy better components, and under clock with better timings, NEVER overclock, you will wind up with junk in no time, and you wont even know which component failed. Hardware manufacturers market the overclocking concept as this is how they make the most money, when you buy new components every few months. With this Memory I was able to achieve better performance for half the price of Cas 7 memory which is 1333. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Amazon delivered quick, and well packaged.

Check compatibility 14 Sep 2010
By Damaro
Be aware that this memory is rated at 1.8v. If you are buying for an intel i5 or i7 processor and don't want to have to fiddle around to get this memory to work you are better off getting some 1.65v memory (the recommended voltage by intel) such as the Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9.

Always check your motherboard and memory are compatible. The memory manufacturers should have up to date compatibility listing on their main websites.

This memory is awesome in every other regard apart from having issues with the P7P55D motherboard.

Good luck!
