For those of you who don't know Aspects are a 5 piece Hip-Hop Group from Bristol. They consist of 3 MC's El-Eye, Probe Mantis, Bubberloui, producer Specify and DJ Nu Balance. This is different from most UK Hip-Hop albums, it's main focus is on fun, the beats are funky and the cuts are fresh. All the tracks have a theme to them such as "We Get Fowl" where El-Eye and Probe Mantis rhyme about chickens, lines such as "The poulterer and the hen night host/out on the town for chicks to spit roast" stand out. All three MC's have a solo track, Bubberloui rhymes about his love for women on "Adverse Curves", Probe Mantis rhymes about his love of 1980's films on "My Genre" and El-Eye rhymes about Witchcraft. Nu Balance and Specify display their DJ skills on "Bristol Fingers" which is reminiscent of a Nu Mark and Cut Chemist track on J5's album. While listening to this you won't want to skip any of the tracks even the skits add to the madness of the album. 'Ects Factor is a battle rhyme which is laced by MC's El-Eye and Probe Mantis and then the whole album is brought down to earth with the very dark "Lost Soul" but The Aspects still manage to make this fit in perfectly with the rest of the album. This is a must by for people who don't take their Hip-Hop or life too seriously. actually, even if they do take it serious they should go out and buy it anyway!

Great Bristol Hip hop. Nice to hear some people rap that don't take themselves to seriously. A good fun album.

This is an awesome album, made even better by the fact that it was made by five Englishmen. This has catchy beats, funny lyrics and doesn't take itself too seriously. Definitely lyrically more advanced than a lot of American rappers who are in the charts at present. Aspects are fresh and gifted and this record deserves to be heard. This is great stuff and well worth the money.
