... as David Bowie's bass player. Bet you didn't know she'd made two solo albums before that, did you?
Quite apart from being a very fine bassist, she's the possessor of a pure, rich voice, and a songwriter of some talent. It's a real shame that this album is currently unavailable (maybe Dave can do something about that?), and I hope her current job doesn't prevent her form making another album someday (maybe Dave could help there, too...?). 'Til then, keep an eye open for this album and its successor 'Rude Blue'.
