BRILLANT PRODUCT, APPALLING SUPPLIER, 16 July 2008
The product is fantastic! Silky straight hair in minutes. Worth every penny as easily the best product I have tried. My biggest worry with straightners is how long they will last. I have been lucky to get more than 12 months of daily use from any other brand, so will have to wait and see on that aspect. However, do not buy this product from here. The supplier: JustBeautifully do not give you a free travel dryer, that is a lie. Plus, they do not acknowledge or reply to any correspondence on the matter. So, what happens when the product breaks down? I don't think the guarantee hence is worth the paper its written on. There are so many suppliers with this product do not risk it, buy through another supplier. (Should anyone wish to see copies of the 2 emails I have sent to customerservices@justbeautifully.co.uk, since I received the goods on 3rd July, they are welcome.)

Just as good as GHD! Just more stylish, 10 April 2009
This review is from: Corioliss C2 Hair Straightener (Red Leopard) (Personal Care)
I'm a lover of GHDs. Was given my first pair 5 and half years ago and I still have them going strong, but I had my hair done at the hairdressers and noticed her use these Corioliss ones and my hair looked and felt amazing!! I had to research them and buy them. First saw them priced at £130 at another website was tempted to buy them but following further research I found them here for £97 inc p+p. And yes they're great. I wouldn't say better than GHD but just as good when it comes to straightening hair, however they are lighter and more stylish with the different designs.

Best straighteners I have ever had!!!!, 11 April 2010
This review is from: Corioliss C2 Hair Straightener (Red Leopard) (Personal Care)
I have extremely unmanageable hair and spend hours trying to tame it each week, anyone who has thick, frizzy and curly hair will know what I'm talking about. Having shelled out hundreds of pounds on having my hair professionally blowdried straight over the years, the price of these straighteners is a small price to pay for the luxury of sleek hair. I was extremely hesitant about buying these straighteners at first as I previously swore by GHDs, but after recommendation from a hairdresser friend, I took the plunge and it was some of the best money I ever spent. Unlike GHDs, you only need to run the straighteners through each section of hair once in order to achieve poker straight locks. The design of the C2s is slimmer than that of GHDs so you are able to straighten nearer the roots of the hair, thus avoiding that telltale ridge left by other straighteners. The titanium plate is also longer than on GHDs meaning you can straighten larger sections at one time. All of these features mean that straightening time is more than halved. All this being said, I still recommend blow drying the hair straight before you begin as not only is this less damaging to your hair but also the effect of C2s is smoothing rather than shaping, they eliminate frizz completely but don't necessarily make your hair totally flat, which for me is a good thing. However, if you use straighteners to curl your hair, these probably aren't the ones for you- GHDs are probably more suitable for this. Also, I have noticed that my hair style lasts longer when using C2s rather than GHDs and so my hair is generally in better condition. Another way in which my hair has benefitted is that they don't catch or break your hair in the corner of the plates like GHDs do, which in my opinion is a huge plus. The shelf life of these straighteners also seem to be better as I have had my pair for almost two years now and they are still as good as when I first bought them whereas I had to replace my GHDs almost yearly. They also smell of burning less than my GHDs did! Finally, the look of these straighteners is also much better than GHDs, the red leopard print design is fun and you can control the temperature guage in order to minimise damage when doing touch ups on the hair - a feature which other leading straighteners do not have. It baffles me why these are not used widely in hair salons, I can only assume that GHD have some kind of contract with salons which influences their decision to use their brand of straightening tools. Definitely worth the money!!!!!
