This book offers great CBT strategies to help those dealing with depression during the winter. As a psychologist, it is often hard to find great books on depression that are easy for people who are not in the field of psychology to understand but I would definitely recommend this book to my clients as it is easy to read and offers clear strategies. The author also includes worksheets which help individuals carry out these strategies. Although it is written for a group context, it would be easy to use on an individual basis as well.
