It's a pretty good laptop cooler. It cools down my 17" laptop and now I have no more unexpected shutdowns due to overheating. However, there are a few flaws that should be pointed out. The usb cable that comes with it is not very durable, it's an A type to mini b type and the mini b jack on my cable fell apart but not before it damaged the port on the back of the cooler. This happened after about 3 months as a result of normal use on my lap and on a table. The connectors at the back of the cooler are flush with the body leaving the cables protruding and liable to any slight knocks loosening them or damaging them. A simple solution would be to have the connections recessed to avaoid accidental damage. Since the mini b port got damaged I have been using the extra A type port to power the cooler and because the A type connector is more sturdy I have not had any problems. My advice would be to throw away the cable that is provided and just buy a cheap A type to A type usb cable to power the cooler.

With this cooler, your laptop will never overheat again. I have used many laptop coolers (especially with the cooler master ones) and this one has so far impressed me most. The best thing I like about this cooler is the fan sped control. Normally I would leave it on at the low setting (I leave it on all night in my bedroom and it doesn't seems to have annoyed me) From time to time, if I were playing games or doing something that requires a lot of system resources. I would switch the fan to a higher setting. Although it does get a bit nosier, so far my computer had never crashed due to overheating once I had the coolpad. Depending where you set your laptop, the blue LED looks awesome but you wouldn't get to see it if you set it on a table facing the wall. The mesh design makes it looks cool and very effective. It is a must buy for any laptop gamers and anyone with overheating issues.

It's comfortable but it isn't as powerful(at cooling) as I thought it would be, low noise though which is good, the highest cooling level is a little loud, but not that bad. If you don't like a constant buzzing noise this isn't the product for you. But over all, it's an "Ok" product, I'm satisfied.
