My daughter has this at the top of her Christmas list. After refusing some awful things on the list (mainly due to TV adverts promoting a pile of rubbish and I had to show her the reality with Youtube reviews), I relented on this one. The idea is actually really good, they make little laminated cards that they can give to their friends, use as sleepover invitations, birthday invites, secret clubs, and I am sure she will come up with lots of other ideas.
However, it is basically a pink plastic box, with a few unexciting sticker sheets, two stamps (where the sticker on top is peeling before I even opened it) and a stamp pad and a small amount of self laminating pouches and inserts and a couple of pens. I think its to expensive for a bit of plastic and you don't actually need the "machine" to seal the self laminating pouches. So although I am not impressed, I am giving it 3 stars overall as I do know my daughter will love it.
As there are only a few pouches they will last all of 20 minutes on Christmas day so I needed to get some refills, but I think the official refill packs are extortionate for whats inside them. So I would recommend buying the pouches yourself from a stationers and cutting inserts from various patterned card, buying your own stickers etc.... or look on eBay, there are a few people who have done the job for you already at a fraction of the price of the refills.
