I wonder if this author has been snooping around my kitchen. I've been collecting cook books for years, each dog-earred and marked with post-it notes for my favourite recipes. I was astounded to find so many of them in Cook's Books - from Nigel Slater's chicken with garlic to Rowley Leigh's Tart Tatin etc.
I couldnt' wait to get this as a Christmas gift, so I picked one up for myself.
