There is certainly plenty of sex in here but I have to say no sense of realism at all.An old man who suddenly everyone wants to have sex with, a lesbian who is not in the least put off by the fact that the person she is having sex with has a penis, a sweet thing who suddenly becomes everyone's Pamela Anderson and a chef, the hero by the way, who turns a whole town on apparently by adding the right herbs to his dishes.(If these herbs truly had such a drastic affect I would be crawling around my local supermarkets now and clearing the shelves). The 'hero' I found gave me a bit of a creepy feeling and I could not believe that there were any true feeling involved from any of the characters. It certainly didn't leave me with a warm feeling that these people were in any way in love or even in lust with each other, very much a pornographic book rather than an erotic book. Don't get me wrong I love hot sex in my reads but there was just something wrong about this story, I do like the people involved to be desperate to shag that particular person not just anyone who happens to be in the same room.
If you only want sex great buy it now but if you like romance with your sex forget it.

To say I wasn't all that interested in cooking before I read this book is an understatement! If only we all could find a man like Storm;) This book will make you want to sit in front of an air conditioner while reading it the scenes are THAT hot! Is a great read but just don't read it when you'll have to put it down.

Great all-rounder 18 Jun 2002
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Emma Holly manages to create the perfect mix of ingredients here (no pun intended!) for a quality erotic novel. Excellent plot and characterisation, well-written inticing sex scenes, marvelously handled sense of humour, and a dubious yet compelling hero for us - great stuff! Keep up the good work, Emma!
