A pleasure to read and a pleasure to cook from.

The translation is a bit stilted in places, and I'd be curious to see the original, but can't find a corresponding work on amazon.fr that fits the title.

A wonderful collection of witty and knowledgable essays-cum-recipes. Not a replacement for a basic cookery book, but to be kept on the same bookshelf for inspiration.

A glorious book in its own right - a unique style and enticing way to encourage one to try the recipes, which so far in my experience have been delicious, exciting and surprisingly straightforward to follow! A must for anyone who loves cuisine in any form.
