Don't waste your time or money - these things do NOT boil eggs, you have to break them, so it poaches.

But even if you want poached eggs, they simply do not work very well. Cooking is very uneven; you'll either end up with runny yokes or runny white or, if you keep cooking, parts which will be overcooked. And if you do happen to overcook, cleaning burnt-on yoke becomes difficult.

If you want to boil eggs properly, either get an electric egg boiler (like the one made by Puregadgets which I've reviewed elsewhere) or stick to the old-fashioned way of boiling a pan in water - nothing simpler really!
