Although not into the more spiritual side of this book the recipes are fantastic and the best and most varied book of recipes for non meat eaters that I have come across. First found it in a relatives house in Sydney and just had to order it immediately. Try it you'll love it!!

This is a fabulous book, ideal for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike!
There are so many delicious recipes, beautifully photographed and easy to follow, with influences from all over the world. I already have this book, but was so impressed I bought a copy for a friend for Christmas. I would definitely recommend it!

If you only ever want one vegetarian cookbook on your shelf make it this one, i bought his first one some years ago which is also good but the home made spices etc and general info in this book are brilliant.
The recipes are easy to follow and the results are beautiful, Kurma shows you how to cook with love which always tastes better than cooking with anger/panic or bad language which some chefs seem to think is normal.
