5.0 out of 5 stars Best vegan cook book around 14 Mar 2007
Wonderful - pictures for every dish, of the finished product and along the way. Each of the recipe I've tried has turned out simply gorgeous, and I'm not a good cook! There's a nutrition section at the beginning, but I just focus on the recipes, which are more varied then other vegan cookbooks, it's just a pity there aren't hundreds more of them!

4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good 1 Jan 2006
By Lex
This is great - when I received it as a gift I didn't expect much as it looks a bit cheap and generic - but after trying it I was surprised to find some excellent recipes - the chocolate muffins are divine, and the rice with avocado salsa is now a staple dish of mine. Very good value!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of yummy recipes 21 Sep 2011
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
My son is vegan so I thought I would move from being vegetarian to this way of cooking and eating. I was delighted by the differences between the two and find it has awakened my joy of cooking. The recipies are so tasty as well as nutritious so would highly recommend it to anyone.

3.0 out of 5 stars Warning! Same as 2 previous cookbooks? 8 Dec 2004
By Elizabeth A. Herrick - Published on
Judging by the pictures on the cover, this appears to be identical to the 2 previous cookbooks that have been published by Nicola Graimes: The Vegan Cookbook and Vegan Cooking for Health (I already made the mistake of buying both of those). This may be a good cookbook, but be careful not to buy all 3 versions of it!
4.0 out of 5 stars Vegan cooking class! 3 July 2011
By AT0M1K_R3D - Published on
THis is a good first step book, the recipes inside are varied covering everything from Soups, to learning to make your own treats such as soy puddings and ice cream. I am admittedly a novice in cooking but I find this book to be a great first step into varying up my's a bit short at under a hundred pages with pictures but well worth it I feel.
