I bought this for myself , enjoyed it so much and bought copies for friends as well after they had been highly complimentary after the dinners I cooked from it.
Not only are John's recipes delicious and authentic but his paintings ,drawings and poetry add extra delight.

Food, art and poetry! Some of my most favourite elements in life! John has combined them magically in this wonderfully heart and cockle warming book! He makes the recipes sound easy-peasy. Definitely soul food!
