IF you see your life as a spiritual journey, this movie is a MUST HAVE
Not many movies today have you in deep reflection 24 hours later, 48 hours later and beyond. This one does achieve just that.
Neale Donald Walsch, as a messenger of the light, is a gift to the world at this turbulent time. As he embarks on a tour of the world reminding us of our Oneness, this movie reminds us of the meaningful life of this incredible man.
Down and out and in deep despair (can't we all identify with this at one time or other) Neale asks God what is it all about.
The answer he receives and makes the focus of his new life is movingly portrayed in this great movie.
Conversations with God not only touches the heart and brings tears to the eyes, but also deeply moves the soul.
What would love do? How well we could apply this to so many aspects of our lives on planet earth in 2007.
Buy this movie not only for your own soul but also for those souls of your loved ones and friends. It deserves a widespread audience - and it is one of those rare movies that will make a big difference.
This is just as Neale Donald Walsch is doing with every breath of his life - the one he reinvented so dramatically and so movingly and this is, of course, the subject of this great film.

This movie tells the dramatic true journey of Neale Donald Walsch - the man behind spiritually insightful books such as "Conversations with God," "Home with God," "Bringers of the Light" and many other wonderful books. He has inspired millions through his work but few know of his real life journey.
His journey began when he is injured in a car accident and loses his job. He becomes homeless and struggles to stay alive. He struggles to find food, friends and regain his lost life. Neale angrily asks God for answers and the answers he receives during this low point in his life become part of books translated in more than 30 languages around the world.
Great movie! Also check out "What the Bleep Do We Know, "The Peaceful Warrior" on DVD and the novel "Nexus" by Deborah Morrison & Arvind Singh.

I watched this film twice although I don't normally have the patience to do this. It is essentially Neale Donald Walsch's story - how he came have his conversations with god and the profound effect they had on his life (and the lives of others, since he decided to go into print). It does not delve too deeply into the content of the conversations which means that unless you have actually read any of the books, you are not going to gain any startling revelations from this film. I suspect it would, however, make you curious enough to read the books and, having read them some time ago I am now keen to revisit them. Very watchable film and the lead actor does look remarkably like Neale Donald Walsch.

I think this movie succeeds in telling the story - which is a good one and is worth seeing/hearing - but is probably less successful in sharing the actually messages of 'god'. Read more

This film is embarrassingly bad
I was a big fan of the Converstaions With God books and so was very keen to see this film. It was such a dissapointment. It's just terrible. Read more

Disappointed
Wasn't life changing for my husband and I. Just about a man turned homeless who gets a job and picks himself up. Not impressed sorry.
