From the Back Cover

The people in this book are pioneers pioneers whoidentified early on just where we are headed if we don tstart tackling the environmental mess that we have created. Buttheir message isn t one of utter doom and gloom. They showhow businesses in particular can lead the way and, indeed, profitfrom finding solutions to climate change.

During what has been called one of the worst economic crises indecades, some argue that the environment is the last thing weshould be worrying about. As our gurus show, that is dangerousthinking. It could not be more obvious that the old, environmentally–destructive model is terminally broken. Theinsights they offer will help you figure out strategies forsurvival.

Format: Hardcover
with Mazur's and Miles' marketing backgrounds, this takes most of the dry writings on eco-business and makes it accessible and usable in any business. The diversity of experts they've included in the book means I learned a lot from the wide variety of viewpoints and backgrounds of these people -- Timberland, Stonyfield Farm, Friends of the Earth. A great read. Bravo!

By using verbal interview techniques, this relevant book projects a serious and timely message in an accessible and entertaining style. Its central theme, that the threat of climate chainge presents not only challenges but opportunities, presents a powerful business case that sustainability makes economic sense, for now and for the future. A valuable and engrossing read for business, government and the consumer.
