5.0 out of 5 stars A grim look at the constant struggle of getting clean 1 Aug 2010
By G. Jensen - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
It's often said that getting clean's easy, but staying clean is hard. Most of us like to tell ourselves that this is a byproduct of the drug itself, or because of the weakness of character in drug addicts. What people don't fully appreciate is that many people who struggle to overcome a drug addiction are also struggling to escape the people they knew as addicts. I really appreciated this story for focusing on the social side of the phenomenon, because it doesn't receive enough attention.
