This review is from: Conversational Riffs: Creating Meaning Out of Conflict (Paperback)
Neil Denny's 'Conversational Riffs' offers a combination of physcological insight in order to understand the reason behind conflict and the offer of pragmatic techniques and tools to use in order to generate a postive result for all parties.

He uses anecdote and quotations to good effect and presents the book in an interesting format breaking the various chapters into 'tracks' which means that it presents itself as an 'easy' read.

I feel that this book will add value and enable the reader to add value to conflict resolution, by ignoring the 'elephant in the room' and instead using the strategies and tactics Neil describes to deal with the constituent parts and reach a favourable outcome for all parties concerned.

A good read with techniques that will definitely be useful in the future!
