Synopsis

Only one man stands between a deadly assassin and a mark, a father protecting his child. There's not really a great deal I can say about this film. It has barely any story, is incredibly short (a paltry 85 minutes - yes - 85 minutes), and is probably a source of profound embarrassment for both lead actors.
It is simply devoid of anything worthwhile to talk about.
I'll add this to "Vlad" and "Cabin Fever" in my list of the worst films ever made.

I don't know where to start with this film it was really poor there wasn't really a story. To say you had two very good actors in the film I would be ashamed that my name was on the front of the DVD cover. This could have been a very good film the foundations where set but it lacked that cutting edge and it was very short around about 85 minutes. If the mother-in-law is staying with you over the weekend like mine was and you need to get out the room because you've seen and heard enough of her I suppose it's worth a watch otherwise stay clear.

I rented this movie without any research as Cusack and Freeman have never dissapointed me. However The Contract is a bad film. The acting is terrible and the plot is boring. I was never engaged with the characters and so found that i didnt care what happened to any of them. I turned it off after an hour of watching as I felt that I would have been even more disapointed had I watched to the end. I dont know or want to know the ending but im sure whatever its conclusion it was a let down
