Fexible canopy hood that can be adjusted to provide 360° in-car and on-buggy shade for your child. ProtectiShade fits to most standard 0-2 group car seats and packs into a smart slimline carry bag. ProtectiShade canopy provides UPF 50+ sun protection - the highest rating available and the lower mesh provides UPF 3+ glare protection, filtering out harmful UV rays whilst at the same time allowing your little one watch the world go by! It's so easy to attach to a car seat using the simple clips which attach to the back of the wraparound removable fabric of the car seat and the drop down mesh will give shade to the lap. When not in use the canopy can simply be pushed back and left in the car without getting in the way when you are getting your child in and out of the car seat. The ProtectiShade canopy can be placed over the canopy hood of your pushchair to give 50+ UPF shade and darkness or the drop down mesh can simply be used on its own by attaching the 4 corner ties of the mesh as best fits your pushchair. I couldn't actually use this as it isn't suitable for car seats where the handle needs to be in the upright position when in use. I've got a maxi Cosi cabriofix and it is not compatible. A big disappointment and I feel I was misled by the desription, however the photograph does show the handle at the back of the seat. I've never used the car seat in that position and can't really think when I would.
I think this is a great product, cleverly designed and easy to install. Sadly it wouldn't attach the the car seat we have (Maxi Cosi Tobi). Thankfully we were able to return it and get a refund, no fuss, no problem.
