Review

Well thought out book ... I'm sure it will be welcomed and enjoyed by the textiles community. --Craftsman Craft & Design

A lovely book for fans of Margo Selby and for lovers of weaving everywhere. Excellent production, design and photos. --Yarns and Fabrics (http://yarnsandfabrics.co.uk/crafts/)

There's plenty here to work from and with, and the whole thing looks well thought-out and presented. --Art Book Review

I found this book very inspiring, the use of colour and texture is so much more interesting than in many weaving books. I did however have the problem of buying the two different editions of the book thinking they were different books as they had a different title. Very frustrating.

I teach beginners and have a collection of lots of lovely old books on hand weaving but this is a great one for beginners...lots of colour pictures, good instruction, great sections at the start on basic design and interpretation, and informative section on yarns which can be intimidating for beginners not knowing what to buy and where to start.

I am fairly new to weaving and this is really inspiring. Beautifully illustrated and set out and full of wonderful designs. A very interesting section on story boards, design inspiration and different yarns. Definitely one for the library. I am already planning a couple of projects based on some of the fabrics shown.

Actually a beautiful book. So beautiful my daughter already had it - so I had to return it. I would recommend it for any one who wants an aid to weaving that is so beautifully illustrated.

Good source book giving plenty of ideas for the more advanced practitioners out there....I'm just about to embark on my first ever weaving workshop so maybe a bit too ambitious for me at this stage...but none the less enjoyed looking through it for inspiration on recommendation from other reviewers!!
