The author painstakingly took pictures of the original food stuff. I like the book graphic which consists of the Nigerian flag colors. The recipes were well detailed and looked appetizing. The only reason why I did not give her a five star rating is because I wish she kept the dishes traditional and not try to Westernize them.

It is really nice to see a book on Nigerian cooking but recipes in this book assume that you are familiar with Nigerian menus and therefore only need the book as a decoration for your table. Ingredient lists are incomplete and steps missed from the recipe process - not impressed!

Gives a new twist on traditional dishes....good ideas on how to present food and encourages you to explore and vary the recipes. Good pictures and clear instructions.
