This book, Ancient Faith Future Mission that explores fresh expressions in the sacramental traditions, makes a good case for the need and involvement of traditional forms of church to engage with contextual mission. Some in the US & UK have been inspired to seek the building of new ecclesial communities out of contextual mission, in our emerging post-secular, post-modern, post-christendom, post-industrial environment. What is evolving culturally in the west is something new, and very different in world view than what has come before. So the challenge then is how to do contextual mission that we hope will become an ecclesial community. This new book contributes to this debate.
