If you're looking to expand your metal horizons beyond System Of A Down, Tool and Slipknot, then this is for you. An extremely aggressive compilation of some of the best death metal bands around today. If you know anything about metal or you've been gigging a lot around places like Dudley JBs, Bradford Rios, Newcastle Trillians, Bristol Fleece & Firkin or London Camden Underworld then many of these bands you will have heard of. Dillinger Escape Plan, Nile, Dying Fetus, Neurosis are prominent here but the real treats are from the bands you're not so familiar with. Relapse is a truly exceptional label that is as diverse as it is specialist in its genre. Another label to check out is Century Media - go get their label sampler, "In The Eyes Of Death Volume II".

Relapse Records, the home of everything extreme. This cd sums everything you ever needed to know about heavy. Who needs the pop-metal of Korn, Limp Bizkit and Slipknot when you've got the insane grindings of the likes of Exhumed, Nile and Neurosis ? Simple as that, I am never gonna need to buy another cd, and an absolute bargain price as well, can't go wrong !

This 2CD set commemorates the 10th anniversary of Relapse records, one of the best labels to feature death and hardcore music. The 51 tracks offer your ears a beating they won't soon forget. Every song is packed with guitar riffs that blow you away. When you see the price, you might think there's a catch....What is wrong with you! It's cheap so buy it and enjoy every moment of this bomb. If you only get one CD from Relapse, get this one so you can appreciate almost every artist from this label. Stay brutal Relapse, don't ever change!!!!!!!

2 and a half hours of death, grind, and hardcore that only relapse is known for. there were some "slow" moments on this set, but not those so-called boy bands which haunt ugly lame dog top 40 radio or mtv

Best Metal Sampler Deal

This 2CD set from Relapse records is the best deal around to get a large sampling of the different bands this label has signed throughout its ten year history. It has new songs from bands like Origin, Exhumed, Dying Fetus (whom they recently signed on), Neurosis, Incantation, Nasum, Cephalic Carnage, Regurgitation, Luddite Clone and the mighty Nile, alongside classics from bands like Suffocation and Brutal Truth. For less than ten bucks you get like fifty something songs on two CD's. Agreat place to start if your new to the underground metal scene and wnt to know what's out there, or even a scene veteran who want's to hear what the newer bands are up to. For the price, you can't beat it!!
