Product Description

From the Author

The ultimate revenge
When Constantine Kiriazis reappeared after two years, Grace thought he'd finally forgiven her for her lack of trust and for cancelling their wedding. Certainly, Constantine's desire for her had not waned but neither had his desire for revenge. That Grace still wanted him was clear, and Constantine fully intended them to share their all-consuming passion - without making her his wife. But when Grace melted in his arms, Constantine began to wonder who was exacting the revenge, and who was paying the price. . . THE GREEK TYCOONS Men who have everything - except a bride.

Kate Walker has produced an intense and emotional read that you will not want to put down! A must-read for those who love Greek hero stories!

Grace and Constantine had broken up two years before when Grace had been forced to choose her family over him. She had a good reason - she thought he had betrayed her. But when Constantine reappears in Grace’s life at a ‘turn back the clock’ party, she wonders how she ever lived without him. They rekindle their love affair but their passion is overshadowed by Constantine’s need for revenge. This emotionally packed story takes the reader on an intense journey from London to Skyros, a picturesque Greek island in the Aegean Sea and back again.
Constantine is an alpha Greek hero that the reader cannot fail to fall in love with and Grace is a strong heroine who is determined to win the love of her man.
I loved this highly emotional story, this book will definitely be remaining on my keeper shelf for a long time.
Will Constantine ever forgive Grace so they can be happy together? Find out in Constantine’s Revenge by Kate Walker.

Constantine's Revenge by Kate Walker
Harlequin Presents # 2082 - January 2000
The Greek Tycoons themed series

The last person Grace thought she'd ever see again was her former fiance, Constantine. Two years ago she ruined all chances of a future with him when she failed to trust his fidelity when her step-sister, Paula accused him of trying to seduce her. When Paula confessed her lies, Grace tried to reconcile with Constantine but he would not forgive her and their wedding was off. Now he's back, and he still wants her. But he can never marry a woman who has no trust, so he suggests that Grace become his mistress. Grace can't fight their chemistry and she wants more than anything just to be in Constantine's life, in whatever way he will have her, hoping that some day their relationship will be more. But Grace had no idea how ruthless Constantine could be.

There are moments when you just want to haul of and slap the arrogance off of Constantine's face and then there are moment where you wonder how he can continue to hide his intense feelings for Grace. He is often cruel though he does explain himself in the end. Grace shows backbone in the end when she realizes having the man she loves in her life at any cost to herself isn't enough. Ms. Walker has a lovely flare for story telling. This was an enjoyable love story, though some may find Constantine too alpha.

Not a very good book 4 Dec 2006
By Andromeda - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Grace Vernon meets up with her ex-fiance at a friend's birthday party although she tries to avoid and ignore the attraction Grace end up taking Constantine home with her and they make love. Grace immediately thinks this is the re-starting of their relationship and they will soon marry. Its really hard to understand why Grace believes this considering the reason she and Constantine broke up was because Grace believed her stepsister's lies that Constantine had an affair with her stepsister despite the fact Constantine denied it. Grace did learn the truth later and went to tell Constantine thinking they could just pick up where they left off in fact Grace is stunned that Constantine didn't want to get back together then. And she's still doesn't understand why Constantine doesn't want to marry her. Perhaps it was because the woman he was going to marry didn't trust him enough to believe he didn't and wouldn't cheat on her. But Grace doesn't understand this even after Constantine repeatedly explains it to her. Why Constantine would still be interested in her after this point I spent the rest of the book trying to figure out but never could.
