Elise has been the Head Bakery Chef for Franklyn's restaurant for 3 years .
This job is her saving grace as she left an emotionally abusive marriage years ago, and wanted a job that would fulfil her. It has also afforded her the opportunity to excel in her craft and has brought her peace.
But Elise still has problems - her lustful feelings for Franklyn. She has kept her emotions in check for fear they will not be reciprocated. But a wedding strokes her emotional side, and gives her a new resolve.
Franklyn's feelings mirror Elise's, as he too has damped down his desire for fear of being rejected by her. Now that his business is in the black, he's contemplating the right moment to bare his soul.
The wedding may be just the catalyst he needs. Is Franklyn hungry enough to finally take the bull by the horn, will the negative residuals from Elise's past waylay his plans, and will they ever satisfy their cravings?
This was an ok but forgettable read.
