`collection of tall tales covers everything... nothing escapes the literary microscope in this one.' -- St Christopher's Inns Live Your Life E-zine, March 2010

Product Description

Did Michael Jackson fake his own death in a bid to escape financial ruin? Is swine flu a dastardly plot by global pharmaceutical companies or a scare campaign created by the pork industry’s competitors? Are the British Royal Family really reptilian shape-shifting aliens? You’ll discover startling evidence on these topics and many more in this compelling compendium of the world’s scariest and wackiest conspiracy theories. This guide leaves no stone unturned as it delves into such conundrums as the mysterious circumstances of Alexander Litvinenko’s death, the alleged withheld evidence pertaining to the 7 July bombings and whether global warming is a hoax. Whether you’re a sceptic or a self-confessed conspiracy junkie, you’ll find a cover-up for every occasion. And remember, just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not after you…

Loved this book! 12 Jan 2012
Format:Paperback
I thought this book was amazing! I am not sure If I have read another book more quickly. I love conspiracies theories so found it was great to have short, sharp overview of maybe a 100 different conspiracy theories. It gives you the pro's, con's and other possible reasons for the different areas. It is written with a fairly balanced view of the two sides as opposed to claiming everything we have ever been told is a lie.

As the other reviewer points out If you are looking for in-depth detail on each theory this is not the book for you. The longest any theory is addressed is only 3-4 pages so it is more a rapid quick fire review of a 100 odd conspiracy theories over any in-depth view. This is why I read it so fast, at the end of each short chapter I got sucked into the next one and couldn't put it down.

Could be better 8 Aug 2010
By Jenni
Format:Paperback
Interesting... but could be better. It simply brushes over all theories without dealing with any in depth. Still, it is good if you are interested in the subject and want to find other books which go into depth on any of the subjects in this one.
