Book Description

A fast-moving twelve-volume crime thriller series from a bestselling Australian author.

About the Author

Gabrielle Lord is one of Australia's bestselling crime writers for adults. Following the Conspiracy 365 series, she already has plans for another three adult novels and two more young adult books.

Research is everything, Gabrielle says. 'Out of my contacts with experts (who are always far too modest to describe themselves that way) I get not only the fine-tuning necessary for today's savvy readers, but also wonderful incidents and images that enrich and enlarge my books.'

4.0 out of 5 stars The Ormond Singularity 28 Aug 2010
By Han
Format:Paperback
This is the fourth book in the Conspiracy 365 series, and Cal Ormond continues his quest to find the "Ormond Singularity", an ancient family secret. The book is fast paced and very exciting, as well as full of intrigue and thinking, as Cal must make sense of enigmatic clues, etc. (Dan Brown type stuff). The writing is good. I think I prefer books written in first person. Problem is, Cal is a little underdeveloped, and is almost void of personality. The page numbers count down, which I suppose is to give the feel of a time limit, but I found it a little bit unnecessary. Its done in the fashion of a journal (which sounds boring, but trust me, it isn't). All in all, its a fairly good book, which is short (30,00 words-ish), but exciting and rather clever.

The Ormond Singularity (to be revealed in December), will either be a shocking revelation, or the biggest disappointment since the unveiling of "The Lost Symbol".

Peace out.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Young Person's 24 1 Jun 2010
Format:Paperback
I bought this book for my 9 year old son as he enjoyed the March title. He really enjoys them as his name is Callum and I think he pictures himself in the boys role. These are the fisrt action stories he has read that he really enjoyed. I prefer the young bond stories but my son is a bit too young for those yet. My Son has ADHD and finds it quite difficult to follow complex stories but these are laid out just as he likes things in quite a factual manner. He's hooked!

4.0 out of 5 stars action packed 21 Oct 2012
By Cloggie Downunder TOP 500 REVIEWER
Format:Paperback
April Conspiracy 365 is the fourth book in the Conspiracy 365 series by Australian author Gabrielle Lord. Cal makes a responsible decision to save a life, risks his freedom and escapes from his pursuers using his own resources. He finds himself variously in a live fire area during an army exercise, the boot of an old lady's car, trying to stop Gabbi's life support being turned off in the ICU, living in an old boathouse and finally, caught in his worst nightmare. He again encounters his doppelganger, as well as several kind strangers. Knowing whom he can trust is a constant challenge, and, although he is in possession of the Ormond Riddle, he makes little progress in solving the various mysteries that plague him: the Ormond Singularity, the Ormond Angel, The Ormond Riddle, and the Ormond Shield. As with other books in the series, the pages run in reverse order and the chapter headings count down the remaining days of the year. Action packed and exciting.
