I'm going to talk in depth about what you get in this bundle and about the console, if you want a simple and quick opinion then skip down to the PROS/CONS and then the VERDICT towards the bottom!

This is a very well priced bundle. The new RRP for the Xbox One without kinect is £350 (as of June 2014). Yet here you are getting 12 months of Xbox Live Gold Membership, The digital version of Titanfall and the Kinect Sensor all for £50 extra. Naturally you will have to justify whether or not you need the Kinect sensor or not although i would suggest that it's worth it especially for the price this bundle is set at, at the very least you can put it away in a cupboard knowing that you have one should you want to use voice functionality, Skype or indeed for a game further down the road.

So what do you get in the box:

The Console
Kinect Sensor
1x wireless controller(batteries included)
4k rated HDMI cable
Power supply (external power brick)
Chat Headset

You also get a code for the digital version of Titanfall and a 12 month Gold membership card for Xbox Live which can be redeemed through the console itself.

There are various ports on the console, on the back you get: Power, Gigabit Ethernet, 2xUSB 3.0, HDMI in (for connecting a sky box), HDMI out (to the TV), Optical Audio, Kinect Port and a Kensington Security lock. On the left hand side of the console you get another USB 3.0 port and a binding button for syncing a controller to the console although if you have Kinect plugged in that will happen automatically as it detects any controllers turned on in the room.

3.0 out of 5 stars I was definitely expecting more! 11 Oct. 2014
Ok everybody compares Xbox One with PS4 and I've chose Xbox One with Kinect because I have a 7 years old child and I thought this would be better for the youngers.
What makes me unsatisfied is mostly kinect. It doesn't tracks as expected and the voice commands are a real pain to make it works properly. With all family inside the room It is harder to make it works, even if you play games without kinect it keeps failing recognising who is in the room and consequently signing in and off all users what messes up with the profiles and stop games. It crashes many times too and you have to restart the console to make apps works properly again.

I have tried different device positions with and without a stand for top of the TV and I've done all recommended configs and tweaks with audio and video on kinect with no improvement at all.
Another thing that bugs me is the necessity of paying Xbox Live just to be able to play a game that you already paid 40 pounds or so. I think this is abusive.
I think too that a USB cable should be part of the console kit since you need one to update the controllers firmware.

Would have given this 5 stars, but there are a couple of issues with the XboxOne
Firstly, Microsofts insistance at putting that stupidly horrible Windows 8 Interface on the console.
Secondly, the console doesn't always power up when using the controller 'On' Switch.

Hopefully in a few months when the games catalogue is fleshed out then this will be a great addition to my gaming set up.

Minor bugs that don't really stop the console doing what it's supposed to do. Just a shame that Microsoft seem to think that everyones console should look like a tablet / PC and not a gaming/media system.

3.0 out of 5 stars Problems with video pass through in the UK. 29 July 2014
By Gaz
Love the console but it has one major issue. One of the reasons I got it was so I could run my tv receiver through it so I can recieve Skype calls while watching tv. But the video pass through doesn't work in the UK. Apparently it's caused by
the fact that the Xbox runs at 60hz and UK Pal TV runs at 50hz. Microsoft has released a patch to attempt to fix this issue but unfortunately in my case this hasn't worked. So only 3 stars from me until this issue is fixed.

Everything is amazing, at first I was unsure whether or not to get the Xbox or PS4, but I am glad I made the right choice. Very cheap bundle and everything is great apart from the headset. The headset was so small it would not even go on my head so I have to go and buy a new one. Apart from that, it's an awesome console, would definitely recommend!

Great deal, and after speaking to people, despite the cons of the Xbox, I think the package is far better from Xbox rather then Playstation. although it's all opinion, so don't shoot me!
