The item was dispached into the stated time and had a perfect package envelope.
Very good product, even if the bookbinding is not so well done.

An essential text for the conservation student, as a book conservator I found it particularly interesting reading around other disciplines and their methodologies.

The Routledge edition does not have colour pictures as shown in the 'Look Inside'. Instead they are poor quality black and white, entirely unreadable for conservation purposes, on sub-standard paper.

Amazon shows this ~$90 book as bound and printed in Italy (go to "Inside Cover" and check copyright page IV). In reality, it is bound and printed in China. This has happened to me before. The previous book's binding broke when first opened. This one is not much better.

Amazingly, when emailed, Amazon replied that nothing on their website showed where the book was printed and bound! Amazon doesn't know what's on a copyright page? Wow.

So just be careful buying expensive reference books over the internet. In stores you can check.
