Timothy's first book in this trilogy explored the encounter with the Zhirrzh, from the viewpoint of the Humans. The second book cleverly switched perspective, to that of the Zhirrzh on the Human Conquerors.
This book brought it all together in a web of deceit and misunderstandings at a heart pounding pace.
It's a brilliant read, a must to conclude the warped perspective of the two preceding books.

I loved all three of these books, but this final book was incredible, I just can't put it down even now when I re-read it. You empathise so much with both sets of characters so much that I can't help myself laughing with them etc. The alien culture that Zahn has created is so thorough you can hardly believe that it's fiction! I recommend anyone to read these books, especially if you like science fiction.

This is the final book in the excellent Conqueror's Trilogy.

The first book told the story of an attack on humans by an alien race.

The second book (in my opinion, the best of the 3), told the story from the aliens point of view.

This final book switches between both the viewpoints, and brings both the books together for a superb finale.

The excellent writing and imagination of Zahn has created his usual page turner, keeping you desperate to read throughout. He also does an amazing job showing the aliens way of life.

In summary, get a hold of all 3 books, and read them - you won't regret it.
