They came, they saw… Continuing the History Channel's quest to document some of the most important events in world history, CONQUERORS focuses on some of the greatest leaders to ever walk the planet. This DVD collection takes a close look at six of history's greatest conquerors: five men and one woman who changed the course of history through their own ambition drive and determination. From the bloody reigns of Ivan The Terrible and Attila The Hun; the globe-spanning accomplishments of Hannibal Alexander The Great and Gengis Khan; to the warrior queen Boadicea who took on the Roman Empire as an act of personal revenge. A truly comprehensive overview of some of the world's most impressive conquerors, this is a great way to learn about some of our past rulers. Learn the truth behind the names that will live on in history forever.

A number of widely different people's personal histories are described in fairly short episodes. We get a general idea of their respective time and they are put into their historicak context. Blatant errors a few and (as so often in historical documentaries) mainly concerning equipment and weaponry and most conspicuously horse gear. Chris Cederberg

This boxset is quite good.
Good detail with all six conquerors the best ones being Alexander the great and the weakest is bodicea which is a bit poor I would recommend this to anyone interested in Hannibal or Alexander the great.
The price is good as well.
