I bought the MP610 recently and have been impressed by prints and scans, but connecting to our home network is a problem.
MP610 only has a USB connector. You can link this to the print server socket on our home network and print from any PC, but you cannot check ink levels or printer status across the network. Scanning with MP610 is only by direct USB connection to the PC. All-in-all, this is disappointing!

MP620 has USB and ethernet and wifi, so network scanning and printing must be possible, but there is no duplex printing.

MP630 has USB and duplex printing. I know it does not have wifi, but what about ethernet? That is what I need to share both printing and scanning over the network. Canon don't seem to know - can someone who has bought MP630 tell us?
Thanks.

Unfortunately the 630 does not have ethernet.
If that is what you need then look at the 620, though that lacks both duplex and cd/ dvd printing functions.
