Excellent value for money, and excellent build quality. Your first 50 pages will be stained by the oil used to stop the cutting blades from rusting. Just use some scrap paper to clean the punch up before using it.

Very good value and once you get the hang of it, is quick and simple to use. I bound booklets with up to 39 pages with this and I'm sure it could do more.

It's robust without being unwieldy or too heavy. Provided you follow the instructions: not too many sheets of paper at once, line it up correctly, and empty the waste tray at the back regularly (don't pick the thing up sideways when the tray isn't empty otherwise you will have confetti everywhere), this does the job extremely well.

For occasional, domestic scale jobs, this is ideal. If you are planning something more regular involving larger documents or greater numbers of documents you might want to upgrade, but this model does exactly what it says it will for a very reasonable price.

The Rexel Office Comb Binding selection pack cost less than £7 and allows for 50 documents to be bound.
Although this requires some of the backing pages to be used as fronts (or vice versa).
Recently to have a document bound cost £3 from a supplier outlet, with the quality similar to the content of the pack.
Delivery was quick and contents as declared.
I also bought a Q connect comb binding machine.
It was delivered within 2 days.
The pack and binder machine cost less than £36, which would be the cost of having 12 documents bound.
For this outlay I have the ability to bind 50 documents and then just need to buy additional media kits (selection packs).
The Binder machine is also very good quality and robust, and I suspect it will be long lasting.

Both products are excellent in my opinion, and cannot be beaten at the price

This is an excellent machine. I took some time to decide which one to go for and am very pleased with this.

I work as a trainer and I use this to bind course material for participants and my own notes. I also do client presentations, bids etc, and have used it for them. While most of my documents are done on the office electric heavy duty machine, I often have to do my own at home for any last minute changes, so wanted something that would produce the quality I was used to but without having a large foot print, and not too large to store away when not in use.

I bought a multi pack of binder rings, backing paper and clear acetate at the same time.

The main binder punches up to 12 sheets very well, no problems with sticking or doing them at an incorrect angle. Most machines don't punch more than a dozen sheets accurately anyway. The 4 hole punch at the back is a bonus and again works very well. The base is sturdy and strong, but not too heavy for me to relocate or store away. The handle always confuses me as to which way is punch and which to open the ring binder, but that is me, not the product!

Compared to the electric, heavy duty machine at work, this is excellent and not only provides very good value even at the full price, but I actually prefer to work on this one. I highly recommend this for occasional use (ie several documents a day).

I wasnt expecting much for the price, but this is a very solid unit. All metal construction and very easy to use.

It can't punch through many sheets in one go, but for home or small office use it's ideal.

Really good piece of equiptment, and really robust, not like those I saw in shops, those I saw in shops are really filmsy. And fantantic price, not like those I saw in the shops, so expensive though they are filmsy. Was debating whether to buy an electronic one, or manual one. Later on, decided to buy a manual one, because the electronic one so expensive, and really with electronic goods, it can packed up, and when it packed up, it really no good no matter how expensive or good it look. Nothing much can go wrong with a manual one, except if I break it, but this one is really robust, don't think it will break that easily. This one is a manual one. And I love it! A really brilliant manual comb binding machine!
