Synopsis

Very nice book 18 Oct 2010
By M. Marikar VINE™ VOICE
Format:Paperback
This book is a short story about 2 ant eaters who are brothers. It deals with the relationship between them how the younger brother (Nudge) looks up to the big one (Conker) and wants to copy him all the time but sometimes Conker becomes annoyed with it and doesn't have patience with him. In the end Conker gets into a difficult situation and Nudge comes to rescue him and save the day.

I read this book with my 2 year old boy and he seemed to enjoy it, as he concentrated on the story and listened without being distracted. I liked the book myself as I felt its a nice message about brothers helping each other out and how they get along together, which I felt was good for my children as I have two boys so they are a big and little brother like Conker and Nudge.

The pictures in the book are nice too, it has an appealing illustration style. Overall would definitely recommend it and think it would be okay for slightly older children too, so from 2 years upwards to maybe about 7

This is a great book for older children with younger siblings - a lovely story with wonderful illustrations. My kids love it and it's been a winning present for our children's friends too.

wonderful book 25 April 2008
By ED
Format:Paperback
This book is beautifully illustrated in a clear way that really grabs my little boy's attention. It is a fun and exciting story and deals with the kind of falling out that older siblings often have with their younger brothers or sisters.
