This is an amazing game, very similar to the first, and just as fun. Play as the same people as last time, with the sniper, heavy weapons, and explosives experts, and the team captain. The game has graphically improved, with less flaws, e.g. walking through walls, random puddles of blood etc. The last game was amazing, and if you haven't completed it, get it, but this one is even better, with the amazing co-op mode where you can complete missions with your friends, or if you like set up your own games. Get 3 friends round, and play four player conflict 2, clear the level of bad guys, and you can set up your own game. 2 on 2 attack/defend the fort, or a deathmatch. It's like a cool version of the classic 007 goldeneye on N64, with no auto aim. NB: if you want a lot of life (3 headshots and you die - put it on easy, if you want it harder, put it on hard.) This is a must buy game, especially on gamecube, as it has 4 player, rather than a measly 2 player on PS2 and Xbox. Buy this game!

Even though this was released back in 2004 I still find myself drawn to this game when my brother and I have a spare moment. The reason for this is the awesome split screen co-op mode. There's something incredibly satisfying in rushing to heal a "dead" comrade when tank shells and rockets are flying over your head with them sitting next to you begging for their reincarnation

Conflict Desert Storm see's you play as Connor- a heavy weapon specialist, Jones- Shotgun & C4 toting all round bad to the bone mofo , Bradley- Balanced rifle wielder and Foley- Desert eagle carrying sniper. Up to four of you can play at once, each controlling their own character or you can switch between them allowing the computer to autopilot the one's you aren't controlling. The system is actually quite flexible, allowing you to send your AI ally off in a certain direction and telling him to stop and face a certain direction, all at the click of a button, perfect for setting ambushes. You can also upgrade your abilities somewhat after each level as you gain experience points, allowing you to shoot more accurately or set down claymore's faster.

The AI and graphics are poor by today's standards but the creative licence it gives you in terms of how you approach the various situations is excellent. The level design and variation is also, there are also far less set pieces than in many modern day equivalents, heightening the sense that you've actually done it yourself rather than just watching the action happen in a cut scene. The high difficulty on harder settings also makes it incredibly satisfying when you C4 a tank and blow it to kingdom come whilst hiden from the enemies, shrouded by smoke. It doesn't take itself as seriosuly as the like's of Modern Warfare and as a result is far more "fun".

Well worth a go, especially if you've a few mates willing to pick up the pads and help liberate Iraq.

I really enjoyed the first game and this one is every bit as good.
The one player modes are brilliant and so are the multi-player ones.
Buy them both - that said this is a sequel and you will probably enjoy the experience more if you play the 1st game 1st.

you are in charge of a team of soldiers deep behind enimy lines and are set missions like to rescue a captured team. after playing freedom fighters i was looking forward to playing a simalar style game untill i turned it on, first off there are so many different button combnations to controll your team you will never remember them the player feels awkard the wepons amiming is not good vechiles dont controll well and it does not keep you intrested. I would recomend freedom fighters instead, far more playable and a much better game!
