4.0 out of 5 stars A very useful companion for SAP FI/CO Consultants, 25 Mar 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Configuring SAP R/3 FI/CO (Hardcover)
I bought and read the book before attending an FI academy. I find the book very useful for general revision and as an excellent source of reference for practical configuration.

In situations where you are faced with practical configuration questions, it comes very handy in pointing you in the right direction, and refreshing your memory as to how exactly you should proceed.

It was recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend it for all consultants, in as much as it is impossible to always remember everything relating to FI/CO configuration. It makes an excellent companion, just like a dictionary does for language students.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dated but still useful, 7 Dec 2007

I was a little disappointed when I received this book as I hadn't realised it was published in 2000 and the screenshots are from version 3. However, having spent a lot of time reading through it I have still found it extremely informative. The R/3 system is clearly explained and although the screen shots are different and a lot of the menus have changed it is still relevant to users of 4.7. This book would easily achieve 5 stars from me if it was updated to include the latest features and screens of R/3.

Worth buying!

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for what the titel suggests..., 17 April 2003
This review is from: Configuring SAP R/3 FI/CO (Hardcover)
Provides a lot of technical info, but the book relates everything to a case study within the book. Useful tool in visualising how the content can (and does) apply in the real world.

I wouldn't recommend this book to complete beginners in SAP, but is excellent for people wanting to progress within the SAP world.
