This is the book trailer for A Confident Heart. I wanted to post it as part of my review because what Renee Swope says in it truly reflects her heart as a woman and who she is as an author. It also clearly describes the premise of the book and what you will get from it when you read it. When I first read A Confident Heart, it was like I'd come home to all I needed to know or be reminded of. I wanted to tell as many people about it as I could!! So, I decided to offer an online Bible study through Proverbs 31 Ministries. As a result, over 8,000 women from around the world are now reading, praying and growing together through Renee's message. We are learning how to overcome self-doubts and live with a confident heart.
The stories of life-change of how this message is impacting these 8000 women is incredible! After reading the first chapter, one woman shared that for the first time, she felt enough confidence to call her father, who she hadn't talked to in 27 years, and forgive him!! This week we're on chapter 3 and women are saying they already feel hope - like never before - that they are not alone in their struggles and that they can change, that they really live with "God-fidence" as Renee calls is, in the security of God's promises.
I highly recommend this book to every person! We all need to know that we don't have to have it all together to be used by God, and we don't have to hide our struggle with self-doubt, or stay stuck in a place of uncertainty, or get buried in the pain and disappointments of life.
