I was given the task ( by my 83 years young female partner ) of ordering a machine treadmill from Argos at a sale price of £219.99 but decided to look on Amazon ( with whom I have an account )and other websites as a comparison in a price range of £(200 - 350).One site listed the requirements to take into consideration when buying a treadmill, as, : horse power of motor, (not below 1.75HP),length of warranty, and max load on the m/c,(a lot of those viewed stood at 15st 10lbs including the Body Sculpture one (£354.99 ) sold by Amazon themselves).Eventually I decided on the Confidence GTR Power Pro m/c at £199.99 from The Sports HQ (through Amazon ) as adequate for her requirements. With a 1.5hp motor,a maximum load of 19st-0lb, plus usual 12 months warranty,12 preset programs of 30 minutes each ( or set your own ) 3 manually set incline levels :(0 - 3.5 - 7.0 degrees )thus giving a wide range of activities to select from. Normally I would have gone for a brand name but the reviews on the cheaper model( £149.99 ) swayed my decision to risk buying this one, and on receiving it, I am pleased with the result. The machine is good to look at,very little to assemble (with ease),and at 28kg weight is still robust and easy to manoeuvre. From ordering to delivery was 2 days, so full marks to The Sports HQ sales & dispatch depts for that.Have been in receipt of the M/c for 7 days now, been used twice each day and so far so good, beats walking in the wind and rain.Have recommended to family and friends with two further orders submitted to date,
