These clubs are great for people who want to take up golf... they can stand a lot of punishment if you hit something or dig them into the ground. You should consider buying some cheap clubs because when you become good at the game.. you will really appreciate a good club! Recommended for Begginners!!

Afraid I have to disagree with the other reviewer here. I too have just taken up the game and bought these as a starter set. I recently played my first 18 holes, and fortunately none of the heads exploded, burst into flames or flew off, despite being ploughed into the turf once or twice at my inexperienced hands. If I have that experience I'll report back, but for now these seem to be a perfectly adequate set for beginners to learn on and decide if the game is for them. The only thing I did notice is that they seemed slightly heavier than my friends more expensive clubs, but I can live with that for now.

The clubs have held up well so far. I have had a dozen 9 hole rounds so far with no problem and a few trips to the driving range with out any flying head episodes. As one of the other reviews said if they last me a year Iwill be happy what do you get for £50 these days. I have found I can hit a ball a reasonable distance and in something like a straight line with all the clubs and as a bigginner they are all the club I need.
