I bought this product when i bought a stationary cycle and it is fantastic. No slippage when i'm on the bike, even when i'm doing sprint intervals. Depending on how durable you need your mats to be i would say this is useful for MOST people. Alot of movement on the mats and you may need something that locks more solidly, they don't come apart when i'm on the bike but when i'm dragging the bike and mats to and from where i workout they do come apart.

I've been using these floor mats to jump rope on twice a week. I use them outside on the concrete. And so far so good. It's been over a month now and they have not worn down or left any imprints. The material is quite sturdy-once interlocked I'm able to jump as much as I like without the pieces coming apart. They're also not too heavy- I can carry all four pieces down to the basement with one hand (though not for too long). When assembled, they're about a square meter and a half. I can jump rope on them without it catching the edges. They're also very user friendly and easy to assemble. It helps if you mark the pieces with numbers once you've assembled it so that when it comes to using them again you already know where each piece goes, like a puzzle. They're non-slippery and easy to clean- which is a plus. Overall I would say this is a good bargain and would highly recommend them.
A good quality purchase, 4 interlocking mats provide a protection for carpets from me working out! Only drawback is they come apart slightly when doing particulary vigorous moves!
