I've had these weights for about three months now and generally they're great, however there are a few minor issues.
Firstly, the spin lock doesn't seem to tighten poperly at the end of one of the bars and I have to remember to constantly check that the weights are secure in order to avoid the plates shifting around and making lifting awkward. Generally this isn't too much of an issue and most of the time the spin lock stays tight.
Secondly I'd recommend some lifting gloves as the bars gets pretty uncomfortable on the hands. This isn't much of a criticism as weight gloves are pretty standard as a piece of kit and very cheap.
The case that the weights come in is made of pretty flimsy plastic. One of the locks snapped off within a few weeks of owning them.
Finally, the rubber rings inside the spinlocks pop out on occasion. This doesn't cause much trouble but you need to check they're fully inside the metal to make sure the spinlocks will tighten up properly.
Over all I'm very happy with the product, the weights are easy to adjust and do the job perfectly well.

This was a Christmas present for my husband, who had to sign for the parcel when it came - so I was sure that he had realised what it was (the clue was in the weight after all!) But his face was a picture when he opened it, as he thought it was going to be a tool set so he was quite relieved when it wasn't.
He's really happy with this set, as he used to have a sand filled one that was too big to store in the house. This set has a compact case so it can be easily stored behind the sofa when not in use. The only criticism is that the locking nuts seem to come loose quite easily.

Ordered these yesterday afternoon, paid extra for express delivery and boy was it express! Dumbells arrived at 1.30pm today. Set comes with a sturdy case well up to the job of transporting or storage, the dumbbells are all metal (black cast iron weights) with chromed handles and collar clamps. The set comes with a selection of weights with both metric and imperial weights sizes which build up on each dumbbell to 20kg total, 10kg each side which is enough for beginners. If you want to combine heavier weights for a single dumbbell for use in concentration curls for instance they are sturdy enough to handle it.
The dumbbells are virtually identical to more expensive branded sets I have used, and I mean identical to the point they look like they were made in the same factory! These are at least £5 cheaper than the next cast iron 20kg set on Amazon and half the price of some identical looking branded sets. At this price I doubt you can find cheaper anywhere.
I used to be into going to the gym and doing the odd weights a bit in my 20s and after a 12yr gap decided to get back into it gently with no major expense (to begin with). Knowing my dumbbells a bit I wanted cast iron ones so I could "upgrade" as I build up strength and size. These are spot on and I immediately tried out some curling sets with them.
I have to say they have not come loose at all and I know some other purchasers have reported this. They come with a rubber washer built into the collar clamp which means they do not come loose, well my ones do not anyway. One word of advice is once you tighten them spin them on the floor (clockwise) as this tightens further, just hand tightening may not be enough (learnt that with previous dumbbells like this I have used)!
All I can say is what a bargain. Delighted!
