Product Description

“My name is Shelley… and I’m a sex addict.”

Follow Shelley as her passions awaken in this erotic journey perfect for anyone who loved Fifty Shades of Grey.

(First published as ‘The Secret Diary of a Sex Addict’)

Shelley Matthews is married to her job as a journalist at a glossy women's magazine. Which is just as well as she hasn't had sex for over a year. But when her editor decides a re-vamp of the magazine is needed, Shelley is forced to go undercover - as a sex addict…

Attending therapy sessions, Shelley meets a whole host of extraordinary characters. There's:

Cian, lead singer of a hot new band, enjoying ALL the trappings of fame.

Dominatrix Abigail, who finds that inflicting pain has become a necessary part of sex.

Will, family man and serial adulterer. He knows his marriage is in jeopardy but he just can't help himself.

Former porn star Rose who is only aroused when the cameras are rolling.

Cliff and Cheryl, a swinger couple who prefer sleeping with strangers rather than with each other.

Can Shelley keep her secret from the others as well as writing the story of the year? And most importantly can she keep her cool - and chastity - intact? And does she really want to?

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun erotic read 4 Jun 2012

Secret Diary of a Sex Addict is based around a journalist, Shelley Matthews, who has been tasked to attend a clinic as a client who is addicted to sex. At this clinic she meets several people are all there for their sex addiction and during group session Shelley discovers that each one has a great story to tell and uses their tales to blog to the new look magazine that she works for.

This is an easy read with some very amusing stories of an erotic nature. Each character was likeable and with a happy feel good ending, you can never go wrong.

1.0 out of 5 stars shallow porn 14 Jun 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
hope you havent high hopes for this total bleak and pointless rubbish,, thought it would be a realistic expose of the awful sex industry and its vampires and users, or a book on the horrors of seedy sex addiction , it is just a tedious and corny with constant sex acts and cliched one dimensional characters, cheap in more ways than one.

1.0 out of 5 stars The Secret Diary of a Sex Addict 24 May 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A puny skeletal plot on which to drape drab and tasteless very soft porn, not even remotely entertaining or exciting. The dialogue is pathetic and totally unbelievable. Any lads magazine is preferable to this garbage.

Read about half a dozen pages and then stopped. I didn't enjoy what I did read, so unable to give a reasonable rating. Rubbish.

4.0 out of 5 stars fun read 9 Jun 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is not the sort of book I would normally buy, but for a freebie I thought I would give it and go and was most pleasantly surprised. It is a fun and easy read, and leaves you wondering about the characters. Although it is soft porn in places, that really is not needed, it is tasyefully done. A definite recommendation.

3.0 out of 5 stars Amusing in places 7 Nov 2013

Chick Lit for female titillation. As a chap I found it a bit tame. I can see why ladies might find it funny and I can see them nodding in sympathy with the characters.
