Read this book in a couple of days. Excellent read, totally honest and open. One of the more interesting autobiographies. Loved reading about the childhood years in Africa. Great book.

Andrea is my faviourte Loose Woman. I have absoulutely enjoyed reading about her life and how she has strived on becoming a person. I relate to her in a way and she's just worked out what life is about just as we all have to at some point in life. I still feel that she has a lot more to sort out and that the image she holds about herself is still in the making. One doesn't need that glass of wine to dim sadness inside; or look forward to work to avoid facing seemingly small problems with kids. I wish Andrea explored her relationship with her mother more, I would have understood her more as a person.

This was the first book I read on my new kindle. I enjoyed it so much, I could not put it down (hence it being the quickest book I have read for ages). I found this book inspiring and related to slot of Andrea's earlier years. I fully recommend this book.

Brilliant read, well written, honest and funny. Not usually the book I go for however I'm glad I did. I admire Andrea McLean, she is a hardworking devoted mother who has worked extremely hard to be where she is.This book shows that. Good luck to her. Hope there will be a part two.

I may still be young but this brought tears and laughter, and you really feel for Andrea and her current situation after reading this amazing autobiography. I would recommend it to anybody because it's such a great read and you learn to understand that life is never really perfect and you can choose to move on and learn from experiences. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars then I would because it really deserves it.

I pre-ordered the book,i have always liked Andrea she is a lovely lady and really looked forward to reading her story, she had a fantastic childhood and parents every child would wish for,commited,dedicated,loving,steadfast,firm/fair... you can tell throughout the book the love and respect that Andrea has for her mum & dad,i felt she beat herself up about things thats gone wrong in her personal life as though the blame lay soley with her, which would not be the case, with the love and support from her loving family and two beautiful children i hope the sun will shine for her real soon. A 5* read

I thought Andreas book was very truthful, she said it as it was. I didn't realise she had been bullied so much, that was hard to read. So nice to end when everything had worked out for her & she was very contented with her life. Shame we now know she is no longer with Steve. A very good read.
