When Concorde was retired from service, its last historic flights made headlines around the world. Now, the film of those very last flights - much of it unseen at the time - has been collected together on one DVD. The last flights into Heathrow, Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham, Baden-Baden, New York JFK, Washington, Paris and Toulouse together with comprehensive coverage of Concorde 216's final-ever flight into Filton.

This is well put together, showing a farewell tribute to Concorde. It shows a BA001 trip to New York as well as the last weekend at Heathrow. It doesn't cover all the final week's regional tour, just Birmingham, Manchester and Cardiff. It has the finale at Heathrow on 24th October 2003.
The DVD extras are a short clips of Concorde taken air to air, Mike Bannister talking about Concorde's three key features, Capt. Max Robinson landing G-BOAD in Fiji and a trailer for Concorde - The World's greatest airline.
All in all, a good tribute to Concorde.

I've seen a lot of Concorde documentaries on TV & Video over the last year, in fact probably most of them. This one just stands out head and shoulders above the rest - and some of the others were good. It covers the last six or so months of the British and French fleets, in a poignant and pretty well-filmed manner. My only criticism would be that the final two ferry flights were quite spartan. Nevertheless, if you want just one DVD that shows the awe-inspiring power, beauty and grace of Concorde, get this one.

A great tribute to a great plane. Really good shots and all new unlike the cheap DVD's which only show really old stuff and are bad quality. Along with "Concorde - 27 years", highly recommended
